“This company is highly recommended by othe...”
This company is highly recommended by other businesses. Their employees are courteous and very helpful. PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE! Their prices beat all of their competitors!

“ Having ridden with WW and Trinity I will ...”
Having ridden with WW and Trinity I will say that the owner off Affordable Transportation, Travis, is the nicest cab driver I've had in JC. Their prices are roughly half of their competitor's. The ONLY reason I can see for this company not to be certified is due to the corruption of WW Cab and their friends in the local government.
“WARNING: UNSAFE DRIVERS, AND CARELESS MANA...”
WARNING: UNSAFE DRIVERS, AND CARELESS MANAGEMENT In light rain this morning I entered I-26 on my motorcycle from the Eunaka St eastbound onramp. When I entered the merging lane a red Affordable Transportation vehicle was directly next to me. The driver did not move lanes despite the open lane to his left. There was ample room to enter the lane in front of the driver. I accelerated to enter and had my blinker on. I observed the driver look over at me as he accelerated pacing me until the gap completely closed. I was forced to slam on my brakes at the end of the merging lane. The driver of the red Affordable Transportation vehicle did the same. I was forced to turn my body to wave at him so he would move. I then entered behind him because after his unsafe driving behavior I was unwilling to be in front of him on a motorcycle. I called and was unable to speak with anyone. When I went to their office and spoke with a man wearing a jump suit that said Affordable Towing I was not thanked for the opportunity to coach one of their employees on safe driving. In fact the "manager" I spoke with told me to "look here now you were on a motorcycle" and proceeded to tell me that I was copping an attitude. I was calm and specifically said I was not there to start any trouble or give anyone a hard time. This "manager's" attitude was inappropriate and he did not seek to inquire about the facts. He did not care what liability his driver exposed his business to and he began to justify the actions of his driver while I was leaving in disgust. RIDE WITH THESE GUYS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! You have been warned, and watch out for them on the road.
“This company does not have the right insur...”
This company does not have the right insurance, if you get hurt in one of their cabs, then good luck getting your hospital bills paid. If you knew the owner, then you know you wouldn't get a penny from his cheap @@@ He goes in debt with everyone that will let him go in debt with, then never pay another penny for what he got. He stole money from Trinity taxi and Reliable Taxi. I heard he wrote his name on company checks that customers gave to him for the company and then deposited them in his own account. He lies to people to get what he wants and never loses a second of sleep over it. But remember he doesn't supposed to be running trips in Johnson City and he has no Commercial Insurance. Call the city of Johnson City taxes and licenses dept and check for yourself, Just think if a member of your family get hurt in one of these taxi's then you are on your own.
“I am not going to use this review site as ...”
I am not going to use this review site as a "soapbox." I do seek to clarify some of the allegations lodged against me by my competitors, and yes I do know its coming from them. I have had numerous "prank" phone calls from some very distinctive voices from people that I know from working with them at other taxi services. Stealing checks from Reliable Taxi? How is that possible when you are listed as a business owner? How is that possible when all customers paid for their trips in cash? The only one with access to the company checking account was my business partner at Reliable Taxi. If in fact too I stole money from Reliable Taxi and Trinity Taxi, would I not be in jail? Am I saying I stole anything from these companies? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Am I perfect? No, not by any means. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES! One thing that I try to do is stand up for what I believe in and not use an anonymous computer to bad mouth someone. My competitors are SCARED because my company's prices are cheaper than all of theirs - WW Cab, Trinity Taxi, and Reliable Taxi! It is time that the people in the Tri-Cities had a quality, cheap, safe, and AFFORDABLE means of transportation. As far as the licenses goes, check with the City of Johnson City and Sullivan County where you will see that I have licenses on file with both entities. Are we insured? Yes! If we were doing anything wrong or illegal, why do we get 911 calls from all area 911 Dispatch centers? If the persons making the allegations against me were as smart as they want people to believe they are, they would know in order to obtain a business license, YOU MUST SHOW PROOF OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLE INSURANCE. I will be more than happy to speak with anyone concerning anything they may have questions about. You may reach me at 423-213-2125. I lead my team by example. I am probably one of the ONLY service owners that you can actually speak to at anytime. I am out on the roads EVERYDAY but Sundays running trips with my team. I personally handle all complaints and should they ever arise, any allegations against any member of my team and my company. In ending this review, if I am such a bad person, why do I have both past and present employees of WW Cab, Trinity Taxi, and Reliable Taxi calling my company on a daily basis wanting to know if I am hiring? Hmmmmmmm.........
